cause i want to be one. does anyone thinks its wrong? also do u think people will think im a lesbian because of it? and im deff not.

No, there are a lot of females that would rather have a female gynecologist. Its a personal preference. Some people feel comfortable with having a man and some feel more comfortable with a woman.

No, it is not wrong to want to be a GYN--in fact, it shows just how much you do care about your fellow women to want to make sure they get the best medical care possible. There are a lot of GYNs out there and many many many "straight" women prefer having a female doctor (who understands what being female is like first hand), find it easier to talk openly with a female doctor. At this point in time, I would say that probably 90% of female GYNs are not lesbians but straight women (some with families) who just care about women and the way we work.

why would they think that? there are many woman gyn and absolutely they are not lesbian. it's a field of medicine, they just want to concentrate on that field and to specialize in it.
anyways, my gyn is a female, and i wouldn't like a male one. and also a woman well understands the woman's body, right?

The most important factor is having a doctor you trust and feel comfortable with. If this is a female, then fine. Nobody is going think you are a lesbian for that (and even if they did, who cares? Nothing wrong with being one...).

mine is female. her husband is also a GYN. there is nothing wrong with you wanting to be 1

i would prefer to have a female for a doc cause she has the same parts as me so therefore knows more about them!!! it wouldn't even cross my mind that my doc was gay or not its not my business and frankly i could care less!!!! if you want to pursue this career then go for it! good luck!
