Its easy, if you don't feel comfortable with the ball, pass it to a team mate. And always be in good position for someone to pass the ball to you. Defensively, try to stay between the opponent and your own goal. Good luck

You'll be alright mate. If you know running is not your thing, position yourself well, and practice skills.
Soccer do require you to be on your foot for a long time, but you only get to run for a minute before waiting another three minutes for the ball to come.
It's a fun sport to do as an exercise or for fun. =] I'm sure you'll have fun with it. Good Luck!

I think there tends to be a lot more running in soccer than football with a lot less breathers in between, so it's gonna be quite a workout. Make sure you get cleats that fit you really well and are comfortable because they'll make a difference between being able to run all game and just cramping up with pains and blisters.

But with all that said, just remember to have fun!

I would not recommend taking over the goalkeeping business since that's a very important position in the team.

I would actually prefer to be the central striker, standing in front of the opponent's goal, if I was a bit unfit. There are plenty of examples of quite chubby lads scoring goals at the very top level.

Yeah right like soccer is the easiest sport man. im sorry to say but its hard, depending on how good of a choach u have. Need to be in shape to run 90 min. or like 60 min. for school i think. and if u dont have footskills then your in for a ride.

Well if you aren't very athletic and haven't played many sports, then soccer is probably the easiest of the major sports for you to ease into. You'll be fine as long as you take care of your conditioning.

well you could trust your intuition ad try to be calm, it's not going to be easy but playing soccer involve having heart, if you do have one am sure weigh and other stuff is just another story.ronaldo of Brazil is a prof of that and the rest is history.
