You've got two choices. Either put up with it or find another job. The boss would not only not take it well if you told her she was wrong, she wouldn't believe you.

The way that I see it is that you can either put up with it, quit and find another job, or fight for your rights and complainl. Me personally I would do the last thing. Go to the HR department and make a complaint, you could also let this person know that you are offended (if you haven't already). Try getting a recording of how this person speaks (make sure it is legal first) in case you need evidence for court.

You can either accept the fact that people used to have freedom of speech to say what they wanted regarding anything. In today's world however, any attack on a protected group could make for a hostile work environment and subject to law. You can file a complaint with the state, your union or your county. Perhaps, you should simply disassociate yourself from her immediately.

You need to address the situation with your boss by telling her that you are uncomfortable speaking about certain others in that manner. If she's worth her salt, she'll accept your views and watch what she says around you going forward.

Yes, please don't voice your opinions to her. Go to your HR diector or a higher up at your company. You not only should not have to hear her ignorant opinion, but she also should not be in a position to be the boss of the people she discriminates against.

It really is hard to work under these circumstances, and it is abusive. Does this person have a boss you could go to anonymously? I know it is hard. I've been there.

It's already effecting your relationship. Unless you tell your boss that her behavior offends you, she'll never stop.

Politely, and tactfully, tell her that what she says bothers you.
If you does not stop, place a copy of the EO law on her desk.
