I bought a ps3 the other day, sent the money through paypal, but the money still remains unclaimed. The page i bought it from says i sent the payment, but next to it it also says payment pending. I don't get it. The seller hasn't recieved my money either. I've waited since friday to see if anything would change, but nothing has. Could it be because i sent such a large sum of money, that it may take a week for a transfer to complete?

assuming you sent from your paypal account, paypal doesn't do instant bank transfers anymore. i found out a few months ago, it turned my payment from an instant transfer like it used to do, into an E-check.

it takes five business days for the money to clear from your bank account, and after those five business days, it's supposed to go right through.

you'll get an email when the payment is no longer pending, and is fully processed

Probably, larger paymentswill be handled with more caution by Paypal. PayPal is one of the most popular online money transfer systems widely used for online auctions, pay to surf programs, e-books and purchase of low value goods. It is now a part of the online auction website eBay. More details available at
