Engines don't have octane ratings, they have octane requirements. And 87 is sufficient for your engine, although the Mfr doesn't specifically say that in the manual. Its always something like "For best performance use 92 or better", but unless it says "Premium Fuel Required", then you can run the cheap stuff.
