sue his insurance company for 100% disability with the loss of a thumb? Or does he need to lose two?

He wouldn't have to sue. Insurance companys care about people and would gladly pay the disability without delay.

Depending on the insurance companies details one thumb may incur less than 2 thumbs check your policy before filing!

No matter which way you are going you always use the same thumb (your right one) so if he lost that one, he could claim disability.

I would have to say that he would lose 2 becuase they would claim that there are two thumbs so... use em up.

he can't get 100% ,its only a thumb unless he claims the truama screwed him up mentally. my friend bob lost a arm he got $100,000
