1995-1997 BMW will break easily?
I was tempted to buy an old BMW and lots of people were/are advised me not to buy. One of the main reason is “Maintenance cost” They told me it will be very expensive to buy part and labor is very expensive. My question is how much durable BMW are comparing to other cars. Let us say if you have a 5 series BMW and Toyota Camry or Honda Accord or Volovo, Ford, Audi, or other car with the same year and same family which one will break easily (frequently) and cost you more. Let us say all the cars are 1995 model

as a ten year old car, you cannot go wrong with a good BMW or Audi and I stress good - yes services are expensive, but there are many second teir garages that will service them at a fraction of the dealer costs which are extravagent.

I would look at an E series Mercedes rather than a BMW though - I have had an example that dir 250, 000 miles with very few problems

good luck
