Being a doctor it's quite simple. The leg and arm funtions come from the same part of the brain so turning your foot clockwise and drawing a six with your hand confuses your brain since they turn in opposite directions.

Drawing a 6 requires you to turn anti clockwise, your brain gets confuse so coordination is bad..

If you start your foot going first and then get sixes into hand motion you can easily do it.
