If you have itching around the outside of your vagina, means you have an outer yeast infection, and there is a very strong chance you have an inner yeast infection as well. You can go to your local drug store and pick up some over the counter medication, such as Monistat, and a cream, such as Vagisil. If you are sexually active, be sure that while treating your yeast infection that you use a condom. A yeast infection can be spread to your sexual partner and the medication you are using will become ineffective.

make sure you don't have a rash of any kind. if you do, see a dr right away.

there is a cleanser called Hibicleanse - it is over the counter. Use that to wash the area and don't use the same pad or wash cloth on any other area.

keep clean and dry

lotions with oatmeal help itching, so does benadryl oral or topical

if it changes for the worse at all go see a dr.

despite what the others have said DO NOT WASH IT!!! taking too many baths or showers can cause yeast infections. and chances are u already have one. get some monistat or go to your doc and get the oral meds for them. and while treating it take few baths, it gets rid of good bacteria and causes yeast to grow to make up for the loss.

You may have and STD if it is more than a hygiene thing or yeast infection, so I would advise going to the doctor.
