I've been using photoshop since version 5 or so and can hardly do without it now. Not that I've ever actually paid for a license but i hear the cs2 suite is somewhere around $1,000 US......let's all give a big thank the good lord for p2p

Hi nick akar,

No, Adobe Photoshop CS2 is a separate program that doesn't come with your Macintosh. It's a professional program, so it is kind of expensive. You can check it out here:

Adobe also sells Photoshop Elements at a considerably cheaper price.

There are also much cheaper programs that do most of what Photoshop does that might be even better for your needs. I love Thorsten Lemke's "Graphics Converter".

Also, since the Mac's OS X has a Unix kernel, you can get a port of "The GIMP" for free and use that. There's also a bunch of other programs that you can download and try. Check out Version Tracker and do a search:

Best of luck to you.

No, it doesn't. You might consider trying one of the free online photo editors. I like www.fauxto.com
