How much the Disney’s fairytale movies affecting child’s future?

Disney has lots of fairytale books and movies that do not have any thing tangible. They are good entertaining but could not find any educational value. Like the Sleeping Beauty, Little mermaid and several others. All boys want to be Price and all Girls want to be prices. When is the best age the kid will know all that is fake and how much these movies will affect them in their real life. By the why all the Disney prices has long and blond hair. May be Mullen and few are exceptions and Brandy’s version of Cinderella

Actually, most Disney movies are not created by Disney. Hans Christian Anderson wrote The Little Mermaid. Disney takes fairytales and makes them into cartoons. Why would you expect that to be educational? Read a book with your child if that's what you want.... and my son never wanted to be a Prince... oh, Snow White had black hair, Ariel is a redhead, Belle is a brunette, Jasmine has black hair... only two princesses are blonde: Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty

Not a tenth as much damage as rap and hiphop are doing to young people. Would you like your young daughter to believe she is a princess who deserves a curageous young man who loves her or that shes a ho who is only good for dancing on poles and wearing daizy duke shorts and making men with gold teeth sexually excited?

they are very good educational movies if u ask me. kids who grow up on disney tend to be a lot more polite and well eduated as to those who grew up on anything their parents were watching. i think all disney movies have great morals, i grew up on disney and I really think that it one of the reasons why i have my 4.0 gpa.

lol. I think that they are good in giving children something good to look forward to, but that children outgrow these tales themselves. Most of these really DO teach nothing and give us all false hopes + enhance stereotypes, but they do give us a sense of the American dream to become something better. I kind of agree that all princesses from the past look kind of white, but that is because the fairy tales were taken from a white background. It doesn't have major effects/consequenses. Phallas symbols in them are bothersome..

Well, I couldn't get a job as a Prince or a Teacup, but I do hang around with talking dogs and mice that wear hats.
