twin girls names?

How does the name Carol and Kendal sound for twin girls? Any suggestions for middle names? Thanks.

well, yes i do like the names! Kendal Rose i like and Carol Lynn! My name was going to be Saphire Ray but my dad didnt like it. If u like that name that is one u could pick!

They sound, well, pretty much exactly the same. And unfortunately, they're overly-similar without being the same style at all -- Carol is a tad dated, but still more traditional/classic, while Kendall (the most common spelling) is a traditionally masculine surname type only recently being used for girls at all. So basically they're completely matchy and mismatched all at the same time.

Names that were popular around the same time as Carol include Patricia, Barbara, Nancy, Linda, Judith, Shirley, Dorothy, Joan and Donna, to name a few, so any of these would seem more suited as a twin to her.

Or, if you prefer the more modern route, a sister to Kendall would more likely be named Avery, Morgan, Elliott, Logan, Rowan, Delaney, Teagan, Tierney, Sheridan, Reagan, Payton or Marley.

Pairing two names that are totally different styles but happen to sound similar comes across as exactly that. Like you picked the names because you thought twins had to have cheesy, matching names, but didn't actually like the names themselves. My advice would be to pick the one you like the most -- or a completely different name you happen to love -- and choose a name that doesn't sound at all the same for the other twin.

Those are nice names for your girls. You could even spell Carol with a K if you wanted so that both names started with the same letter. For Instance...Karole and Kendal.

Sounds too much alike.

My boys names always confused other people because of the beginning letters and the sounds of them.

Like Erin and Aaron...names like that.

Best to have logical sounding names and logical spelling or other names, because if the twins are hard to tell who is who, the similar names will just make is more difficult.

How about Karol and Kendal. Peope might assume Caorl would be spelled

Not crazy about the name Carol, but love Kendal (I'd spell it Kendall). For the other twin, I'd go way different sounding like Jasmine.

Kendall is a cool name, very modern. Carol is very plain and old fashioned in comparison. How about naming them something like:

they are nice names though carol seems to sound a bit more older then Kendal if you know what i mean i think Kendal and Cammi sound nice as for the middle names why not go for something traditional like your middle name for one and your mothers for your other or let them have the grandmothers names as their middle names. it's always nice to keep family names about

Well, Carol was my mother's name and her middle name was Lynn. Kendal is very cute, I would go with Michelle or Nicole for her middle name. I think they are nice names. Congratulations.
