What does self thinker really mean, when you think a lot in your head constantly? Does it make you smart?

How would you define working hard? or when you work hard and fail each time.

The taxi/subway explanation is good.

Working hard: sticking to a job until it is done right.

Working hard and failing each time? A lot of people who have made it big have done that because they didn't give up and kept trying.

I think a selfthinker is someone who does not follow the crowd . It's like if a crowd your with wants to take a taxi to somewhere they don't want to be late to and you know its faster by subway and go thAT WAY you didn't follow the crowd. Working hard and you fall each time maybe you need to work on something else.
