Las Vegas, Nevada

Virginia Beach, Virginia

Fort Walten Beach, Florida

Honolulu, Hawaii

I've never been to any of the above, and which ever one I pick I will have to stay at for a minimum of 4 years...

please give some pros and cons of each...the obvious choice seems to be hawaii but I've heard that gets old after a few months...thanks for the help

I think you should pick the place that you are LEAST likely to call home for the rest of your life.

I'm not sure why you are going (school, military, etc) but I would use this chance to be a bit adventourous. What is farthest from your home (Hawaii, probably) and your family (East, West coast based?). Given your income and career potential, what city will you most likely be able to live in again in the future? Don't go to Florida if you are going to be based in Georgia later in life, for example.

I once met a Marine just out of boot camp in an airport. He was telling me he had two choices of assignment, but wasn't sure which to go with. Missouri or Italy. I basically said "what are the chances of someone, later in life, sending you to work in Italy with housing and other support vs. what are the chances you could move to a city in Missouri (or a city like one in Missouri)." He ended up choosing Italy.

So you may want to consider that which you won't get a chance to do later in life....
