How do I deal with an overbearing sister in law, who pushed her special forces military hubby over to my residence to attack my 17 yr old son, after he was caught having a party the night before. I was out of town on medical emergency for my dad. I do not for one minute think it was mr anitsocials idea to attack with brut force while me and my husband were away. BIL has not said a word about the incident to me. SIL only did at a dinner party of hers to embarace me.

Why is your SIL even worried about a party that is not at her house? Not her business nor her problem to worry about. Depending on how long ago this was you can do two things. At the very least, talk to both of them and let them know this behavior is not acceptable. He could have been arrested and thrown out of the military if it had been reported when it happened. I would find out if it still can be reported. He might not be prosecuted if too much time has passed, but it can be on file in case it happens again. Have your son call 911 and have him arrested in the future. Have your hubby involved in this too. He needs to let his sister or brother (depending on which one it is) know that he is not condoning their behavior either.

How long ago did this happen? Is there any evidence that it happened? Like bruises, etc. on your son? Take pictures of it. Please, talk to the local police and see what can/should be done about this. The bil is an adult, your son a minor, that was 100% not the thing to do. You are the parents, not the bil. I wish you and your son and hubby the best. Take care.

Anyone in Special Forces that attacks a 17 year old can be turned in for assault on a minor and face a Court Martial. Run to your phone and get in contact with his Commanding Officer. This behavior is unacceptable for a member of such an elite group.

If it was my son and it was my brother in law that roughed him up, as soon as I found out about it I would have pressed assault charges on him. He had no right to discipline your child. Especially with physical force. No way no how, would I ever have anything to do with either of them.
