I would fall out of my chair. There is no way that could happen. There is too much talent in the American League.

quite not all that shocked. The AL important is arguably the weakest branch in all of baseball; although the comparable element has been suggested on the subject of the NL important. right this is how I see the branch taking place this twelve months. i think of the Minnesota Twins would be solid contender for a repeat. i think of 2d place and a potential wild card would be fought out between Detroit and Chicago with Cleveland and Kansas city pointing out the rear. provided that we are speaking the AL important; any of the 5 communities can legitimately make a run at the two the call or the wild card. a pair of warm streaks for the duration of the season and any of the communities are in it. regardless of the undeniable fact that, purely some seasons in the past, the Royals had a sizzing April and could and led the important till very almost the All celebrity smash, then they suffered a mid-summer season fall down. the undertaking isn't lots the skills. KC has the skills; yet they have an fairly stingy proprietor in David Glass. Mr. Glass offered the gang from Ewing Kauffman's factors and Glass has been working the Royals very resembling he ran Wal-Mart while he replaced into their President and CEO. The Royals are probable in the smallest marketplace in significant league baseball besides perhaps the twin cities and Milwaukee. yet with Mr. Glass working the gang like he ran Wal-Mart, there in simple terms heavily isn't the motivation for the two: one, for the gamers to have the % to win or, 2, for the followers to come again out and help the gang. The Royals draw nicely under the league general and till the Royals grow to be contenders, i don't see that changing any.

I bet my house, my kids and my parents' retirement money that it doesn't happen.
If these 2 teams ever played in a best-of-7 series, though, Tampa Bay would take it in 6 games.

i would laugh so hard i would cry. this is not possible for another 100000000 years. simply because the Devil Rays are stuck in a divison with the REd Sox and Yankees so they cant make the playoffs. though if they did, they would win because they have so much more raw talent then the Royals.

I would kick myself for not having twenty bucks on it.
Whichever team was batting last would win, with these two bullpens you know they would blow the save.
