First off, let me say that I understand how disheartening and frustrating you both must feel right now. I can relate to your wife's condition. My husband and I were in a very similar situation to yours. We had been having unprotected sex for 5 years, in the hopes of conceiving a baby, but it was a no-go. Tests came back normal, and I was given no plausible answer as to why we had not yet gotten pregnant. My cycle was extremely irregular, and so the doctor suggested that I start charting it every month, along with my BBT (basal body temp), and cervical discharge - to look for patterns. The charting helped a lot. As time went on, I was able to become more "attuned" to what my body was doing and what that meant in terms of predicting where I might be in my ovulation cycle. Three months later I found out I was pregnant with our first child. Good Luck to you and your wife, and I hope this helps. Where there is a will there is a way!

I had that problem too. Both of you need to relax forget about getting pregnant and have fun. The usual reason I found was I became so focussed on having a bub that I was stressing out throwing my cycle out even further. So my advice just relax, have fun, forget about trying, don't use contraceptives, and it will happen naturally. I have had 5 kids this way and love every one of them. Besides we had loads of fun not trying than when we were trying.

DON"T have your wife go on the pill. The pill is just a temporary period fix, but it prevents ovulation and tricks the body to think its pregnant. I have the same problem and I was on the pill for two years. I've been off for a few months and have not ovulated since! I'm trying to figure out the same thing...but my advise to you is..don't try the pill. =) Hope this helps!

Have her start putting wild yam cream on her skin each day from Day 15 to 28 (or until the first day of her period). She should stop using it on Day 1 (the first day of her period) until Day 15 or 16.
Using wild yam cream from Day 15 until she gets her period will likely increase her fertility, and her ability to keep the pregnancy. There is a definite chance that she is actually getting pregnant, but doesn't have enough natural progesterone to keep the pregnancy, so she loses it very early on - so that it just seems like she is having a bit later period.
"Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler is an excellent book that will help you understand things like your luteal phase, and losing the pregancy before you even realize that you are pregnant.

that is a really hard one to answer because it is different for everyone. Go to www.webmd.com and in the search type in temperature rising during ovulation then click on fertility problems. It will explain what exactly you should do to conceive a baby. I hope I was able to help
