it seems like I've seen on here several times where Republicans think if everyone in a party doesn't stand up and say "we think this is bad" that means that they think it's "good"?

I mean... I've never heard Bush denounce donkey porn... but that doesn't mean I think he likes it?

most people don't like the same things... just because they don't make a HUGE DEAL out of not liking it... it doesn't mean they like it...

I mean who does the denouncing anyway? And if one member denouces it publicly, does the whole party?

It's not a problem with the Republican party so much as it is with Y/A and the Internet. As communication becomes easier and easier, individuals want to gather attention for being the hero by figuring out what others hold opinions on while highlighting what's supposedly inoffensive. Republican viewpoints here are pretty hotheaded, but so are Democratic ones as well as parties from other countries.

Our differences are our power. We can see the other side of the object so we can make sound decisions about things, decisions that benefit most of the people.

Compare that to a group which is strictly pressed to see things just one way, like a country that is governed by a religious power.
