oKaY, so I have to choreograph a dance before March 1st!! I know I can do it, but I just need some tips. My partner and I don't have much time to dance together so should we do some kind of dance off so we can make up our own moves on our own time?? Like I say I'll do the first 8-counts and then she can do the next so we dont' have to be together except to practice??

Listen to the whole song. Count all of the counts in eights. On a piece of paper list the verse by simply writing (Verse 1) and use one tally for every count and go by eights. Do the same for the chorus, instrumental breaks and so on. This will guide you to how long and how many counts there will be and also will tell you where you could use repetition such as for the chorus. Get all of the clutter out of your mind and just listen to the song, get up and dance just as you would infront of your mirror. Steps that you do will most likely be put in your dance. Most importantly, be yourself through your dance. Do steps that you can do and look great. Good luck!

i would say a quick way might be to just freestyle on camera, with or without your partner. Then you can visually see if you like a move but may have forgoten. Also, a quick and easy way to bounce ideas off of your partner. Good Luck!!!
