Without a doubt, life in the topics. I personally hate cold weather, so Hawaii would be Paradise for me. I know it's expensive, but that wasn't the question. I have been to Hawaii, and I also love the laid back attitude of the people.

I like to run. I can run in Hawaii every day all year.
I like to stroll. Same
I hate sweaters and coats. Same.
I don't care about the cost. Same
New York has more interesting people overall but all you care about is your circle of friends. If you can get an interesting circle of good frineds in Hawaii you are golden. The tough part is keeping it together and Island Fever and all.
At 22 I'd choose New York
At 27, I'd be torn
At 32, I'd choose Hawaii a bit reluctantly
At 40 - Hawaii and don't look back
Choose your poison!

If i had to choose i would pick hawaii. New York is a very filithy place. It is so dirty it smell bad where ever you are. That is if you are talking about new york city, other places in the state are ok.

Cost too much to live in Hawaii and too many folks in New York beside my south Tx butt coulnt take the cold. Darling come down here to Tx where i live at got bannanas growing in my front yard. Nice gulf breeze year round, terrific fishing,great hunting and not alot of folks in winter anyways

Hawaii because it always warm and you dont ever have to deal with the cold wether that is in New York

Neither. New York is crowded and polluted from all the traffic. Hawaii has a high cost of living and high unemployment rate and homeless rate.

If only given the two options, I would go for New York. I'd get too claustrophobic on the island.

That's hard. I love visiting both places but i dont think i'd actually ever want to live in either one
