I hate Walmart.
My gf wanted to buy my toilet seat a hat to match the rug that catches the piss and keeps my feet warms when i drop a load.
She wanted to color coordinate the set in cream/caramel.
I said no, and ended up arguing for 2 aisles on the way to the cashier. At the cashier, we were still arguing about it because i didnt see the point in the hat but somehow she did and still, to this day a week later, does.
Now, please tell me (her, rather) why my toiletseat needs a cream/caramel hat?

because on those drunken nights when you stumble into the bathroom in the dark and sit on the toilet thinking the seat was up and end up plopping down on a freezing cold lid....if you had a cover then it wouldnt be cold

You are missing the big picture. She is trying to make the place look nice and you sound a little ungrateful. I can not understand why you needed to argue down 2 aisles about it and make a big deal over nothing. I guess you just have to be right!! If I was her I would be looking for a guy who appreciated me rather then looking for a hat for your toilet.

Let me ask you...is she a good girlfriend? Does she treat you well & respect you? Is she special? Then my friend....WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL?! Please pick your battles! I can't help wondering why you're making such a huge issue of something so tiny. If she's great girl & you're glad to have her, this is my suggestion: go to the store & buy the seat cover for her. She'll be touched by the gesture & in the future...if you have an argument that's worth having...maybe she'll cut you some slack. My husband dropped dead at 36 years old....trust me please, this is not worth causing hard feelings with someone you love. Buy her the seat cover. And some flowers. Give her a big kiss & tell her you're glad she's in your life.

Simply, it looks nicer. That's the only purpose of it. Plus, if your toilet is an ugly color, that can kind of cover/disguise it.
The things that people will argue about in public amaze me. Is it really that big of a deal? I mean, unless she was spending hundreds of dollars on it, who cares?

Why do you have hair on your head? It covers the hole in your head and makes you look better. So why not a hat for the toilet to cover the hole and make it look better also. (just kidding about the hole in your head). Good luck
