I had 4 miscarriages before having my 2 healhy sons. I went to an endocrinologist and found out my progesterone level was low so I wasn't able to maintain the pregnancies. Infertility meds and progesteroneshots during first 4 mos of preg. worked. A lot of OB/GYN MD's don't look into your hormone levels, so I suggest you go to an endocrinologist or fertility MD. Good Luck!! (P.S. I had 2 separate full term wonderful pregnancies! There is hope!)

It depends on what caused the two miscarriages.

If they were due to health or lifestyle factors--poor nutrition, high stress, drug use, illness--then you might have a pretty good chance at carrying to term, provided these factors have been removed.

They could have been due to physical factors, as well--uterine irregularities, such as fibroids or bicornuate uterus. In that case, your risk of another miscarriage is increased.

Then there could have been genetic factors. Highly unlikely, but it's possible that you and your partner both carry a recessive gene that is expressed as a non-viable fetal malformation.

If you're wanting to get pregnant, I'd say just keep trying. If you continue having trouble, see a fertility specialist.

I've had 2 miscarriages after my third child and it was right after another. I thought I wouldn't be able to have anymore but 5 months after my second miscarriage i got pregnant twice and had two healthy, beautiful, smart kids boy and girl. So maybe just rest for awhile and don't give up hope.

The other poster is right. It depends on why you miscarried the other two babies. How far along were you? Did you ever carry another child to term? If it was just "one of those things", probably yes.
