Looks like he will be trade-bait in August. When the Cubs are 50-70, they will dump him, because they dont wanna give him a long term deal. All of their long-term pitchers always seem to get hurt after getting the big money.

I think they'll sign him to a multi-year contract after this season. The new Cubs ownership is spending money like it's going out of style. He will command $100 - 120M for 6 plus years.

The 2 NY teams seem to be changing their model---no longer willing to give pitchers a huge contract for long term.

they will sign him and it will cost them more than what B. Zito signed for thats for sure. Big Z is an ace. they have ZERO brains for not locking him up sooner!
