Ok. So recently, I've been constantly receiving a phone call from the same person, who I personally do not know. Every time I pick up, I always receive this crackly noise. At first I thought it was a fax machine. However, when I tried calling back, I actually heard a voice on the other end. Also, before I even got a chance to speak, they hung up.

If you know the number they're calling from, the next time they call simply scream as loud as you can into the phone...they won't call back and it will be a few days before they get any hearing back in that ear :)
Used to get obscene calls and finally one evening while bringing groceries in, the phone rang...my obscene friend, husband was just entering the house and I screamed like I was being murdered...scared the crap out of the caller and out of my husband LOL
But...never got a call back from the person again...they'd been calling for almost a month before I wised up and because I didn't have a whistle...I used the next best thing.
Yeah, I'm just that weird! ;)

The only sure thing is to order Call Block from your telephone company. Do you know who this person is? Maybe an online search for the phone number might turn up a name and address.
If it persists, you can try complaining to the phone company or the police.

You can order the Call Block feature for a fee. But if you are receiving a lot of nusiance calls, most phone companies will try to work with you.

If you call the provider of your phone service they usually have a service that will block that number from calling you anymore. If you're interested in finding out who is calling you, and you have the number, then try using a reverse look-up service on the internet.

If you have the phone number then report this to the phone company and to the police. If you look in your phone book there will be an area that specifys what to do in case of harrassing or prank phone calls.

If the number is available on your caller ID, I would contact your phone carrier and see if they can possibly block that number from being able to call your phone. You can also report them for prank calling.

Not a whole lot to do on that one ... get an answering machine and let it answer your calls ... ( so you don't have to)

just call your phone caller and ask them to block that specific number from calling you.
