Hey there. You may be developing phimosis. Hygiene for an uncircumcised man is different. It requires pulling the foreskin down, cleaning the penis, drying it and replacing the foreskin twice a day. The foreskin may develop and infection. So, for now get some Neoporin ointment and work it under the foreskin as well as you can and slowly work your foreskin down. Practice this 3 times a day.Uncircumcised men are more sensitive sexually because their penises are not constantly subjected to physical stimuli.Avoid circumcision if you can. This article can help you.http://menshealth.about.com/cs/embarrassments/a/phimosis.htm Only you can determine is you need a physician. I have used Neosporin ointment on conditions such as yours with success but it took 2-3 days of working on it. This can be fixed. Try to relax. Sitting in a warm bath tub sometimes helps. Once the foreskin frees up be sure to avoid this occurrence again. Good luck and know that things will improve.

Boys are born with their foreskin and the head of the penis attached. Untill that detaches the skin won't be able to be pulled back. However Phimosis (tight foreskin) is a different thing. That means the foreskin is detached but too tight to be pulled back. Unfortunatly the longer someone waits to get this taken care of, the harder and longer it takes to fix. It should be taken care of the second it's realised. 1. You shouldn't have sex at all with Phimosis, as the skin can be forced back causing it to tear or get micro tears which was those heal the scar tissue will make the skin tighter. So sex should be avoided untill the problem is fixed. Plus the skin being over the head is going to block your sensitivity. 2. Yes you can do stretching exspercises. I reccomend going to your doctor and getting a steroid cream, since you have waited so long before doing anything it's going to be needed to help speed up the process. Apply the cream as directed. Then 3 times a day (at least) get a full erection then pull the skin as far back as you can WITHOUT pain and hold it there for 5-10 minutes (I reccomend 10, the longer the better). And again do that 3+ times a day at least. -Connor

You might have a condition called phimosis, where the opening of your foreskin is too tight/narrow for it to be retracted fully and easily. There are many possible solutions to this condition (and yes, the condition can affect your sex life in that sex might not be as pleasurable as it could be).
The first thing you should try are what're called stretching exercises. For one stretching exercise, take two fingers and stretch the foreskin opening as far as it'll go comfortably without pain (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side of the opening. It's a little hard to describe and may take a few tries to get right. Do this exercise for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month, perferrably done right after a shower.
If after a month or so and this yields little/no improvement, you should ask for prescription creams that're supposed to help, especially when combined with the stretching exercise. If after another month or so and this doesn't work either, then you'll probably want to consider surgical options. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean circumcision (see 2nd link), as circumcision should only be reserved for when all treatments you're willing to try have failed. See the links for more details.

Sounds like you may have phimosis.
This is a complicated situation, and I don't want to write reams, so I'll refer you to the excellent information at http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/
Many doctors will suggest circumcision, as it is profitable and easy for them. But it's not their penis which will be permanently mutilated! Insist on a second (and even third) opinion if your doctor turns out to be an advocate of chopping. As the article above explains, there are many less-destructive alternatives.
Good luck to you!

yes, your doctor can loosen your foreskin slightly. sounds like it is loose enough until your penis becomes engorged. it should be a simple enough solution, so make an appointment.
I'm not sure how much this will bother you during intercourse, but it be easier to manage once taken care of.
best wishes,
cryllie

This sounds like an adhesion of the foreskin to the glans. It's definitely something that should be checked by your doctor, and can be easily corrected.

It is called "phimosis," and yes, you should see the doctor about it. Most cases can be cleared up pretty easily. Failure to get it fixed will leave you with a higher risk of penile infection and cancer...as well as painful intercourse, in most cases. So - not a major problem, but something to get looked at when you get first chance.

You need to get to a doctor asap. If he can't help you, he'll send you to a urologist. You have what is called "phimosis", pronounced fy-moe-sis. You may need a circumcision to correct it. Please call your doctor tomorrow. Or see a urologist. But some specialists need a referral from your family doctor, and some insurance companies ask the same. Call your doctor's office and/or insurance company tomorrow morning.

It's rare, but it happens.
Just stretch it out when you shower. If you can masturbate fine (which I assume you can) it shouldn't be an issue during sex. Once it slides it'll provide more pleasure by sliding up and down over the head and stimulating it.
