about the latest line of Supreme Court opinions on the issue? It's a clear violation of the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause just like Conservatives have been telling you intellectually vacuous Libs for the last 40 years since this abortion of a public policy began.

Afirmative action was put into place simply because few were following the law against discrimination - mainly the 14th Amendment.

I believe it was a good idea for years. However, in recent years, it seems to polarize the whites more than doing any real good. But what do I know? I am a left of center liberal.

Its racism plain and simple.
Its also un-constitutional, but every time it ever got close to the supreme court the case was thrown out or the court quietly refused to hear it.
