Probably the same as the rest of the world. What are yours?

I think, not much. At least, these two still hold:

1. We still look up to foreigners or anything foreign, or, at least, look to them as potential sources of money. As in Spanish times, we often ape anything foreign as a way of "enhancing" our perceived status.

2. We care passionately about our families but not our communities or the rest of the nation. We keep our houses immaculately clean but our rivers and streets littered with garbage, and festering. We tolerate the evil that our family members do if our family will profit; we lie for them, cheat and steal for our family. And we even feel good about it, thinking we're upholding our highest values. I think this is a root of most of our problems. We're not individualistic, we're familistic. I don't know which is worse.
