but what does he mean by just a cloud?!

When he/she is with or has their "love", they lose themselves because they are so into this person. They are wrap up in love so much that they have lost their own identity. That's my perception anyway.
A cloud meaning he is one of many or lifeless.

I kinda get the feeling that it means that the person changed themselves to get the other person... and they have them now but they don't know themselves. Which happens a lot. I don't know that's just what I'm getting from it.
