My brother has asked me to be the God mother of his new baby girl and of course I said yes. However, she is being baptised the last sunday in march and I have no clue on what to wear. I got some advice and tips from my friend, but I cant seem to find anything anywhere. However, I did happen to browse on Dillards' website and found this really cute sun dress. It is on the dressy side, but it is also semi casual looking. But I was telling my friend about it and she asked me what the color of the dress is, and I told her it is white with peachy colored floral on it. She told me that sometimes you are not allowed to wear white to a baptismal. Is that true or is white okay? Technically the dress isnt only white. But I am just asking to be sure.
What do you think? Is white okay to wear to a baptismal or should I keep looking and find something else? What color would you suggest be okay to wear if not white?

like I said, the dress is not all white. The color of the dress is actually white and a cantalope peachy color. And the floral decoration is all over the dress which gives it this pinkish color. It is very weird but kinda cute. I even asked the mother (my sister in law) what she is going to be wearing and she said she is wearing black slacks and a nice shirt. But I dont want to be like everyone else. And I would feel more comfortable wearing a dress inside a church anyways.
And the dress is right at the knee, so it isnt too short or too long.
