Would middle school students enjoy a 1 man scene act of Romeo and Juliet?

I'm supposed to act out a certain scene from Romeo and Juliet for a talent show but now I feel like most kids won't like it so I want some views on this.

Just have fun with it and they will like it. Do your best and it will all work out in the end.

I had to read that this year in high school. I really dont like that play. It is so fake. But anyway, i think everyone really hates that play.

Unless its one of the sword fights, I doubt they'll enjoy it.
