Oh-kay, place yourself in my shoes,... you're starting out new in highschool. And honestly, you're kinda lost and don't know your own style. Should you go classic stylish black and emo, preppy and popular, or tough skater? What are the benefits of each of these?
Note: I am not trying to be what i'm not. I jus' have multiple interest and i can't manage to stick with one. If i be all 3, then obviously people are going to think i'm a poser or something.

I don't know why but currently i feel like matching designer brand chanel jewelery with black clothes. I think emo would be nice but in a stylish way.

I am preppy, and semi-popular
and i love my life at school.
just make a few friends, and go
with the flow. you'll be fine.
i know in my school, people
think that emo people are freaks.
personally, i have nothing against them.
but i would neccasarily TRY to be emo.
tough skater, i dont know. i'm not too sure about
that. but i hope i could come to atleast the least bit of help.

I think the best thing to do is be where what you like. The best dressed people aren't in one of those catagories. They wear what they are most comfortable in. You don't have to just stick to one of those, I don't know why you would when you have so many different styles you like. Maybe if you dress in what you like you'll fit with all the crowds, I think will people will admire that youi're not trying to look like everyone else. I think a poser is someone who trys to be like everyone else, so if you wear what you like and be yourself no one can call you a poser. if you ant to wear preppy clothes one day and tough skater clothes the next--do it! It's way more interesting and you'll be more comfortable. Pick your friends and the people who you hang out with by who they are not what they're wearing. I know it's really hard and high school is really tough, but you'll be much better off there and in real life if you just be who you want to be and march to the beat of your own drum. (that was actually our school motto!) Good luck!

Just shop at the Gap.
All of their clothes for women can go many different directions-- urban, preppy, classic, popular, indie rock, forward-thinking types.
Tough skater??? I dont think I know what that is. Like Tony Hawk? was he a tough skater?

"preppy" ppl are not always popular.
"skaters" are not always tough
"emos" are not always stylish nor wear black
if you're true to yourself you won't label yourself. you'd dress however you'd want to dress and you wouldn't feel insecure about it.
