Yes you can, if the bowl is 20 gallons, filtered, and heated. Since nobody makes 20 gallon bowls, and since any bowl is difficult to heat and filter, I'm going to say no.

A pair of swordtails needs at least 15 gallons, 20 is much better. Leve the bowl on the pet shop shelf and get a fair sized tank. You'll be very glad you did.

Minimum requirements for a pair of swordtails are 15 gallon tank, a heater and a filter system. They're tropical fish and have requirements....

No, swordtails are tropical and need a heater. They are also going to need a filter, lighting, and hopefully some decoration. They also need room, which is another thing a bowl doesn't have. You need a tank setup.
