Fairy Tales are usually attached with childhood. Fairy tales are stories that talk about love, affection, bravery and all the other good attributes we want in our children.

It is something that I would use to create a foundation for the character of children, before they grow up and see all the not so nice things in the world..! They are something that kids could use as fallback/hope when they face tough situations in the future..

J.R.R. Tolkien defined fairy tales as stories about the adventures of men in Faërie, the land of fairies, dwarves, elves, and not only other magical species but many other marvels. He would know.

Sorry, fairy tales are just make believe.

Now, go see Guillermo del Toro's fairy tale movie "Pan's Labyrinth". I hope it wins the Oscar for Best Foreign Film.
