Some of these people's answers are just so non-judgmental and, well, so "perfect." Do you think people answer in a way they think will be the most politically correct/agreeable, or do you think they answer honestly, or both? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I'd say answers fall between who the person is, and who they'd like to be or be seen as.

I think that responses say something about who a person is: if a response is well thought out and insightful, then you know a really intelligent person has replied. If you get your usual silly responses from people, then you know they're the ones who just want points, don't really wanna think, or just don't have great perception on issues.

I think most people answer honestly, largely b/c no one knows who they are anyway, so they feel most comfortable saying what they really feel!!

It depends on the section of Yahoo answers. If you go to the adolescence section, even if they say they are for parent's of the adolescents, you'll find a ton of "he didn't like me back?" or "why is my friend like this?" "am I pregnant? I'm only 15."

...and some just respond for points.
