Is it illegal to sell a football players autograph a copied version?

Ill mention its copied but is it illegal?

Its illegial to say its authentic, meaning the player signed it in ink when its just a copied. Its also illegial to forge it too.

Yet if you tell them its copied and sell it, then its legit if they are informed.

I don't know whether it is illegal if you tell them that it is a copy and not an original signature.
