He was one of the very few former Red Sox that I liked. He was an outstanding S/S and excellent hitter before he got hurt. The Red Sox were not good to him and I was glad to see him leave Boston. The Red Sox didn't deserve him. He didn't really fix with the Cubs but when he went to LA, I was really glad to see it. I still think he can play and hope he has a great season with the Dodgers. I've picked the Dodgers to win the NL West.

nomar is still missed in boston. he is an excellent hitter, and also a great team player. i personally think when the a-rod to boston talks heated up it really hurt nomar(he loves boston, still has his nomar5 foundation here) and he never quite fit in with the team after that. dodger fans should feel lucky to have such a good all-around player as nomar.

nomar was my favoriter baseball player in boston. though it never worked becuase nomar is a california kid and boston is far from warm. so he never really liked being in the cold.

nomar now is a good player, not great but good. he is finally where he always wanted to be 5 years late.

nomar has been overrated for years now and he's getting older and older and less and less durable, even at 1B

as for the dodgers, i think they will win the nl west on the strength of their pitching

He was 'the man' in Boston so I think he'll eventually be 'the man' in LA. He just needs to get over his injuries and play a whole season. I think he definately has the potential for an all-star year.

I used to not like him too much but he's really a good player if healthy. Plus he's married to Mia Hamm, he's the man.
