If choose mp3 then you can put more songs into the CD than by choosing audio cd. Besides that, if you choose audio CD then when your friend puts the CD into her computer she'll have to fill in all the track information into the songs 'cause it'll erase. It doesn't matter what format you choose the songs can be easily transfer to iTunes, so you don't have to worry about that.
Good Luck.

Audio CD is referring to CD-R and CD-RW
MP3 it needs to be on an MP3 disc, these hold a lot more than the CD's with a max of 74-80 minutes
Also: Song Track, Artist, Title does show up on my CD-R's and CD-RW's depends on what kind of CD player you are using

MP3 CD if you want to put it on an iPod, otherwise you will have to put in the song titles and artists by hand. Audio CDs don't allow for song info, MP3 CDs do.

Audio would probably be better. Its the same as putting a regular CD(not burned) on an iPod. Its really up to you, but I'd go with Audio.

Do an MP3 CD, so you can put a ton more files on, however a regular CD would be faster.

I don't think it matters. I've transferred songs in mp3 to iTunes, and I've transferred songs from a music CD.
