How do I find it and take it out?

If you don't want it to work anymore....

Unscrew the cover, and the piece of metal shaped like a 45-90 degree arc is the magnet.

not sure i understand your question --- there should b no magnet in your hard drive-- a magnet would pull data off your hard drive -- try to ask your question with a little more detail --- hard drives are pretty much sealed from factory not much you can work on inside of them
