I would try to sell it to an individual.. maybe try a local paper. You will probley get more for it. I have heard that pawnshops don't give you what items are worth.

I wouldn't sell your things first off but if you want to sell your ring you will only get a fraction of the price of the ring and it will also be based on the quality of the diamond.Expect to get cheated at a pawn shop.
try going to legal aid and getting a court order for child support, just because you're not divorced doesn't mean he isn't still responsible for the kids. Also if the lease is in his name they will go after him for rent. Seek financial assistance through the state if needed.

First, get a court order to MAKE him pay child support.
Second, don't have any more kids if you're going to be splitting up.
Third, get job applications to find a place to work. You don't know how long it'll be before he pays child support, and you won't find out until you're almost living on the street.

Tell your husband you don't have enough money for rent, he should be able to help you out. Why don't you borrow some money from relatives? I don't think you should pawn your ring especially if your husband gave it to you. You guys might get back together one day and you'll regret it. You could apply for Rent assistance if you need it.

don't sell your things... go to the state dept of child support and tell them about your husband, then ask them if you can atleast qualify for some sort of financial assistance, and/or food stamps to help you through this hard time.
