Amanda Marcotte, former Chief Blogger for John Edwards, said that the Lord shot his "sticky, white goo" inside of the Virgin Mary and that's how she became pregnant with Jesus.

Even though 82% of Americans are Christians, however, not a single Democrat has condemned her and the Liberal media has treated Marcotte like a victim after she resigned from the campaign.

Where's the condemnation Democrats? State your position. This is your chance and will be re-published. Currently, I'm collecting all of the anti-Christian comments made by Democrats on Yahoo Answers for an article, but want to add some balance by giving you this opportunity.

they wont take it. these are the people that called "piss christ" a great piece of american art. when it was nothing more than a crucifix in a jar of urine. and was nothing more than the artists way of voicing his hatred of all things christian. if democrats came out and said that what she said was wrong then it would go against everything they believe in. everyone is ok, no matter what you say it is ok as long as the only people it offends are religious psychos. and by that they usually mean christians. dont forget these are the same people who are making people stop putting up nativity scenes because it is offensive. no more easter it is offensive, we now have the Spring bunny. anything that is even remotely religious when haveing to do with christianity is a big no no. it is sad but christians are now seen as stupid for our beliefs and persecuted if we speak about them. as proven by the person on here talking about spreading your hate. democrats want to believe that if you just give give give then everything will be ok. go give a homeless guy money. go give this guy this and that guy that. what ever happened to working for what you have and deserving what you work for. and of course then there are the dems who quote the divince code. which is in fact, as pointed out by the author A FICTIONAL BOOK THAT HE WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND ANY EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT!! his words, yet so many of the sheeple of this country take it as gospel truth. there is no reasoning with most leberals, they have absolutely no forthought in their actions it is based purely on emotion. i feel bad for the homeless guy i do but it is better to give him a shower and help him get a job then to give him money. of course i am a christian conservative republican which in dem speak means i am a closed minded hate monger and a Visigoth.

There are real people dying in a real war in a real country far away. Bad Edwards for not reading every word that person ever wrote before his campaign staff hired her.

Haven't you got anything better to do than criticize people for their writings about someone who exists in a book which was translated by people with an agenda? Do you even know how many translations of the bible exist, and who translated them.'m sure the one you read is the only true bible.

Oh, and if you think publishing this is a threat of somekind, you've certainly got me shaking in my boots here. OOOOO, I'm scared

Get a life based in reality, not on some possible fiction perpetrated two thousand years ago.

Did i mention real people are dying?

The "Virgin Birth" has always been a controversy. Was Jesus a product of a human union or a union between God and a female? Also, did Jesus and Mary Magdalene create a family called the Merovingians who lived in Southern France? We shall never know.

I am a Christian and it matters not to me. The words of the Christ are enough to prove his divinity, and enough to sanctify me.

FORMER chief blogger for John Edwards. In order to condemn her, one would have to say what they were condemning her for, They may feel that they don't wish to repeat what she blogged!
She has been condemned. She is no longer a blogger for John Edwards.
Just reading it on Yahoo Answers is repeating something I really didn't care to read. I wish I hadn't read it!

Amanda Marcotte feels free to insult Christianity because she knows how long-suffering and tolerant we are. We may complain, but we'll never do her any harm. John Edwards feels no need to condemn her remarks for the same reason.

I am not a Christian and I do not believe in the Immaculate Conception, however, I feel that Marcotte's comments were vile and disgraceful. One should never defile another's religion. She was way off base and Edwards will pay heavily for this sacrilege.

Well, are 82 % of Americans up in arms over this?

I thought not.

You conservative people have a lot to answer for -- you're undermining the Constitution, trying to turn this into a Christian government, with the Founding Fathers turning over in their graves... For shame!

And you're worried about somebody's BLOG, for pete's sake! This is obviously a ploy to keep people's minds engaged with non-issues.

It seems absured to expect the whole country to pile on over this issue.

Better to put your concerns on what the president is doing to the environment, to the economy, and to the American reputation in the rest of the civilized world. Now, those are political issues. But you won't hear about them on Fox TV. (Liberal TV doesnt seem to exist anymore, by the way.)

In a country filled with Christians, how come things are so phucked-up? Print this in your story. I worked for the catholic church for a few years, the people in power, the Pastor and the nun administrator were the most arrogant, selfish, non-caring people I have ever had the displeasure to have known. I took the nun in front of the diocese because she lied about me and took ten hours from my work schedule in order to try to make me quit. She was forced to step down and is not allowed on the church grounds she once ruled with an iron fist and a total disregard for all around her. You are welcome to believe what you want, I believe organized religions are evil, intolerant and destructive. Try being more spiritual and less religious.

Why isn't harrassment and discrimination against Christians ever denounced by liberals? Liberals tell themselves this is a white dominated, Christian dominated culture. They see themselves as protecting the minority culture. What confuses me, is why liberals fail to understand that ridding society of hate against everyone is the proper way to rid society of hate against minorities.

uh... edwards pretty much fired them... that's a denoucement...

but really... the issue here is... it's some stupid kid on a blog...

and no one really cares except for wacko Republicans that think it represents what all liberals think...

most liberals don't agree with it... but it's freedom of speech...

I haven't heard Bush denounce it? I guess he supports it?
