Then we should get our congressmen/women to get it pushed through, don't you agree? I feel that is very important before the minorities say it's their right to choose. There isn't any other country where that is an issue. Their national language is what it is, and IF they learn English in their country it is because they want or need to.
This is America, and English IS Our Language. In fact, that was the name of my English book in school for as long as I could remember. They just changed editions for each grade level.

Yes, but only for the reason of technicality and foundation of law. It should not be used to take anyone to jail or in any other way to harm someone.
If they are working and paying bills and legal to work in the U.S., leave them alone.
The law should not mean that they are required to learn the english language, it is a choice that they must live or die by.

What good would it do to pass a bill that says that English is the National Language?
It isn't goint to make anyone that doesn't speak it speak it. The only thing that will happen then is people will be able to say, "Engish is our National Language"
Whoop dee doo.

It is a useless waste of time. What is the point? It would have absolutely no practical consequence.
Right now there are so many issues of great consequence to be handled, I can't believe that any intelligent person thinks this is how our government should spend their time and our money.

This should most definitely be done. Do not understand why it has never been passed. if they don't do it soon, they will have to pass one making Spanish the national language.
They are about as quick on this as they are on closing our borders ...

Yes.
All government business must be in English.
Politicians do not want to fix problems, only make us think they are.
