Just read this please! (At least read what I pasted here, because JKR wrote a pretty long response)

"What is the significance of Neville being the other boy to whom the prophecy might have referred?

"In effect, the prophecy gave Voldemort the choice of two candidates for his possible nemesis. In choosing which boy to murder, he was also (without realising it) choosing which boy to anoint as the Chosen One – to give him tools no other wizard possessed – the scar and the ability it conferred, a magical window into Voldemort's mind."

Of course, I think that Neville will play a part in the ending of the story, and may be one of the most powerful ppl (just because of his hard work), but this clearly says that he is not the Chosen One, does it not??

Yeah, it definitely did. As did the book in which Harry was told about the prophesy. It's ridiculous for anyone to believe Neville is the chosen one when it's already been said that Voldemort CHOSE the CHOSEN one by leaving a mark on him.

No, Neville is not the chosen one, but that dosent mean he wont help, he's already played an important role so far in the books. I also think Neville will play a part in the end of the story, I think he's gonna get revenge on bellatrix. That would be awesome! She'd deserve it.
