I think Meredith only had a near death experience, and Denny will help bring her back to life, but for sure it's a near death experience. They can't kill off the main character, they just can't.

I also think Ellis will die, since on the first of the three episodes, Meredith accidentally drowns herself, and Derek asks her if anything is wrong. Here:

DEREK: “Your Mother! Look, your Mother was lucid and she said some things, and now she’s-”
MEREDITH: “Gone! And everything’s back to normal, it’s not a big deal.”
DEREK: “YEAH, EXCEPT SHES HAVING HEART SURGERY TODAY…”
MEREDITH: [sighs]
DEREK: “Hey. Do you want me to talk to the Chief? I know you have the Triage thing today, but he’ll give you the day off.”
MEREDITH: “Stop. I do not need rescuing.”
DEREK: “You would’ve drowned in the bathtub had I not been there.”

She'll probably die in surgery. She already made her point by showing us that she is a great doctor, but what else does she have to do? They can't kill off any other character, they all have so much to do with the show.

Oh, and Sloan and Shephard are friends again..aw, I hope!

I can't wait until tomorrow's episode!

A good friend of mine who is a celeb. gossip nut told me there are two people on Grey's anatomy that are going to be going off the show.. If anyone dies on the show I would guess it to be Grey"s mother and Dr. Preston Burke........

She won't die....she can't! It would ruin the whole show! I think she'll probably be on the brink of death throughout the entire next episode but at the end she'll make it.

I think Ross and Chandle would show up
