What about cats that jump into paper bags themselves? Is this self abuse?

I would think that putting a cat into a paper bas is abusive as putting a child into a pillow case.

Yes that is abuse. You are supposed to put the kitty litter into a paper bab NOT the cat.

Only if you put them in or let them go in and they can't get out. But personally, my cat CAN punch her way out of a paper bag ! LOL

It depends if you put it in there and close/seal it.... that is abuse.... but if they walk in and play that is absolutly fine. my cats do it all the time
