I live in Crete near the Chania Airport 35 Km from Rethimno. Nice choice to go to Rethymno this year. You will like the Georgiupolis Beach at the west of Rethimno and for sure the old harbor, with alot of taverns - Cafe and night clubs. My prefered area is the west part of Chania (Galatas - Platanias - Tavronitis where you can have what ever you can imagine. I suggest to visit that area. It will take you 30 minutes from Rethimno. Have a nice stay - vacations and when you are around here give me a sought.

Went to Stalida once.Good tavernas and a good beach as well.Did you not go into Malia Old-Town.We went in a few times and had some good nights in there.Remember one taverna in particular,it had football shirts on the ceiling.Ryan Giggs used to go there, the owner was brill.Kept us in for hours, what a night. The big thing l liked about Stallis was they hate the Germans. They used to keep them waiting on purpose for their meals.Fantastic it was.Taverna owner told me what the Germans had done there in the War.Said they will never ever be forgiven.

I've been in Crete twice and loved it! I 've been everywhere! My favorite place is Chania! It's such a beautiful town! I loved every beach and especially Elafonisi! I think it's the most beautiful island in Greece!

The way we think of paradise is different for everyone. A few years ago, when I visited Loutro for the first time, I felt that I had found my image of paradise. It's not just the beauty or the serenity of this place. I think that everything in it fits in such a way, that the result is perfection.
