What difference did you make today?

oh, the usual*... rescued a few people from tragedies… averted a world war… found a cure for the common cold… just after lunch a meteor heading towards the earth which I managed to knock out of the way… oh, and I helped a little old lady to get on the bus!

*note, only one of these is actually true! ;-)

I am not sure I have made any difference today. I feel better today than I did yesterday and I am looking forward to waking up tomorrow! I try to please everyone, but I often find it an imposable task. I have found that I can only please one person each day... today is not your turn... tomorrow is not looking good either! (I love that quote)

I try to improve my relationships with all living beings by 1% each day... that gives much more success than money can buy! I also try to like the people I am not comfortable with!

That is my daily difference, I hope there is something you can take away and apply to your own life. Remember this... if you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got!!!

I do my best, whatever opportunity arises each day. I try to "sweep my own porch," so to speak. Cleaning up is a labor of love for most people, and I try to do my part. I think most people do.
I get paid to cheer somebody up, it seems like play to me. I try to do that at home too. Smiling at anybody I meet and being kind, and thanking people for even the smallest of things, makes a lot of difference in my life as well. I choose to be cheerful. Things may not always be what I think they should be, but I try to make up for it in small ways. I try to see the best in everybody. "Love, (the kind that seeks to understand.) conquers all."

I didn't flip off the guy that almost knocked me over trying to get into a packed subway car because there were children present. So I saved their mother a, "Mommy, what does that mean?" type question. Quite the humanitarian action, I think/

some i made a public space in the municipality look a bit better with defining the edge of a garden with rocks .

aside from my husband whom i love very very much and show it at all times as he does to me

i volunteered for the local schools breakfast program for one hour this morning i made 80 pieces of toast and poured 120 glasses of juice, and then help clean up as i do every wed-Thur- and Fri, and said yes to come in on Mon- as the person who normally has that day is sick with the flue

and this afternoon i volunteered for two hours, ,for the teenage after school community involvement program--..discussing and planing spirit week which is coming up soon, and going home to prepare list of items i need to collect...as i always do every 3 days of the week and more if the other to days can not be covered by another community member

told my mom i loved her as i do every day by email

I have been helping a friend of mine move. Today I scrubbed her bath room and kitchen floors, on my hands and knees, after packing the car to bring another load over to her new apartment. (Yes the floors were that bad lol)
