Ladies, what Attributes do you look for in a man?

I know every one is different and sees different qualities as being attractive, What do you look for?

*For me, it starts with the hands! If you have girly hands, no deal!

*I love a guy with a great sense of humor. I love to laugh. I am pretty witty and fast with my wittiness so I need a guy that can keep up.

*A job is always a good thing!

*Sexy eyes!

well many women think they can keep lists of qualities that they would look for in a man - but I never know what will make me tick. It could be anything - looks are one, but definitely not a decisive factor. A good dress sense is a good start but wont get you through all the way - heck, it shouldnt scream "I just went shopping" but should define YOU. A great sense of humor is always a turn-on and serves another purpose - making a woman feel comfortable around you - which is SO important if you wanna see what she is really like. education is important to me, but more important is an offshoot known as "know-how", or "street-smarts" - knowing your way around a million different situations, and that too with confidence. A guy should also know how to respect a woman - sexist jokes i can take only from very close male friends but not from someone i just met. Basic manners i.e. holding the door open for you, pulling a chair out for you, that is ALL IMPORTANT. Helping out in the kitchen - especially men who stand there and cook - thats the ultimate turn on for me hahahah. Artsy men i am totally fascinated by. Direct eye contact i totally dig - but not if the guy is trying to act all macho and obviously trying hard to impress. it has to be just the right balance of "making you feel important" and "not trying to impress"... :) ... one word to sum it up is charisma.

and i know this sounds like i stereotyping, and i should not do that, but my own personal preference aside from above, that attract me, the person must be at lest 6'1 or taller and not skinny skinny, and not muscular, i am almost 5'4" and 130 lbs, there is comfort, being in the arms of someone bigger then me.. who makes me feel safe, ,

also my husband has 12 guitars and is not afaird to sing to me

i was lucky enough to have been married to my husband of 20 years now, because he posses all those quality's above and much much more listed above, also it helped he is 6'3" and 180 lbs i call him my gentle giant

I look for someone who calls you to make sure that your ok, who likes you for who you are, and someone who won't lie to you but tell you the truth in a way that makes you feel like he is actually looking at the good features in you and not the bad! AND DON'T RUSH THINGS! Girls hate when guys try to go to fast!

I like a guy who is open-minded and definitely not a "know-it-all" He has to let me be me and be able to laugh when I'm acting stupid. I like calm, easy-going guys who just have this presence that shows they're comfortable with themselves. Men who can show me chivalry is not dead are especially attractive to me ;)

Above all else you have to be nice, if your hurtful to anyone, especially my friends or your mean, or anything like that, I wont give you a second glace no matter how good looking you may be.
