No I can't sleep with the wardrobe door open because I can see all my junk that has been shoved in there and I keep stressing that I should really tidy it up.

YOU can sleep... Me too, but we prefer not to.

In my case I adopted the rule of closing everything right after used; I do it also with the milk, sugar, coffee, cocoa, pickles, refrigerator, freezer, house door, car doors...
But you can let it open... Everything. It is up to you. really.

I know in the navy they also close it before submerging... but you could let it open... why not?
lolololololololol......

I am sorry... I just shouldn't make fun of it. But the point is that it is up to you to close the wardrobe or not. If it is on your way... You'd better close it. If you can walk in the room without hitting it in the dark... you can live it open, or maybe even remove the door(s) if it disturbs you and you would insist on sleeping with the door open.

I could sleep IN the wardrobe, doors open or closed, if I was tired enough! So could anyone. Sleep is all about being tired enough for it.
