Strictly off the record, er do flutists prefer to start with a high note or do they sometimes piccolo one?

They alto say either, but a flat note wood wind them up, they descant stand them- that's key, but don't reed too much in to it.

i prefer strting high but . . oh ha ha ha!! but really i like high notes they rock.
