If you had been in a 4 year relationship until nov (with a child) and knew that your partner thought the world of you but due to them having problems last year and finding someone they trusted deceived them they then turned on you (as though it was you that was to blame) but had only spoken to you once a week, then said they would talk to sort out probs with you (3 weeks ago) only to go on about the other deceitful person and then to be very distant again with you the next day and then would not converse with you much since..... what would you think.......
Another question i need to know if the same person said,(jan) you are the love of my life, and i really love you....whatever happens! How would you interpret that? I know it was meant.

Sorry for the long winded q, your time is appreciated. Thanks

I think you're holding out for this person and he's not to be trusted.

I think he tells you what he thinks you want to hear.

When someone loves you and wants to be with you nothing will keep them away.

This guy is really confused, he has a child with you, but keeps changing his mind & blowing you off?? He has cheated on you, but says "he thinks the world of you", I'm sorry but if he really cares that much a bout you, he would talk to you more than once a week, or so. I realize you have a child together, but you need someone more stable in your life.

A relationship with anyone begins and ends with yourself, by being nervous and worried about it he can sense how you are feeling that's why he is reassuring you, it seems that he is going through his own personal hell at the moment and does not want to involve you because he loves you. Ask him to share with you.
Good luck I hope it turns out well for you.

two options:

1) give him his space. this guy was hurt and decieved and his having trouble deciding on whether or not he can trust U now, even tho u werent the one that lied to him. its just how it goes. so you can give him his space and let him think about it..

OR

2) you can try to talk to him and let him know u would never lie to him or hurt him like that. show him that he can trust you and doesnt have to doubt you.

everyones grieves in different ways ...give him sometime to regain his old self back in the meantime remind him that you'll always be there for him no matter what.
